I’ve been getting everything ready around here
things are starting to look pretty good. I’ve got a ton of things
waiting to go into storage. And a
bunch of rearranging that I need to do for my bedroom. But most of the major purchasing is
done. I think that accents
and some appropriate wall stuff may still be needed but that can wait a
little. I still have a few big
things to do.
On the web front I’ve taken some time to go ahead
and update the layout here. I
think I’m going to setup a blog type area but that depends on what kind
of software I need to get. I
think that might work best. I
know that the last thing that the world needs is another nutjob sitting
around explaining how they think the world should be run. So I’ll do my best to
spice that up with frequent homoerotic innuendo and heterosexual porn. That’s right policy and
sex. It should be fun.

towards my goals
New stuff can now be tracked at news I'll reserve this
page for big updates and stuff.
Alright, so I officially started sleeping in the new apartment 2 nights ago.
My room looks like crap. It has tons of stuff everywhere. This weekend is
going to be one gigantic chore. But thats ok no one said this was going to be
easy. So far I've got a shower caddy and curtain up, so that I can take a
shower without splattering water all over the place. plus I bought some
really cool trinkets at Bed Bath and Beyond. New toothbrush holder towels
etc, oh and a bright red shower curtain that adds some much needed color to
the bathroom.

alright so as
I was signing off on my old apartment...
I was doing my walk
through with the apartment manager. I found that I'd left my dress clothes
behind. so naturally I grabbed them up and tucked them under my arm. as I
turned to go the hangers caught on a shelf and tore it right out of the wall.
This kind of thing often happens to me. luckily that closet had already been
inspected. I signed off on the apartment and left. Don't look at me like
that! they just need to snap the damn thing back together.

So we'll see how
well all of this fits into the page. If I keep this up to the end of the week
I'll consider it a success and go ahead and spend the money and redesign the site.
I'll be better of with straight HTML and ftp access. I'm old school like
that.
so I've spent a fucking fortune.
today I got a call from my credit card company. they wanted to be sure that I
was making the purchases that I have been. this was right after I made an
order from ikea and purchased my 19" LCD for the bedroom. It rocks by
the way, another fine product from the fine people at Samsung. Anyhow I spent
over today alone. well I have very little left to purchase so that should be
ok.
now I'm watching Conan the
destroyer on my new LCD in surround while sitting on my bed and looking out
my 22nd floor window on a gorgeeous view of downtown seattle.

alright
so this move did not go very well for me. I was totally unprepared. I'm
fairly sure now that it is becase I strayed from the yuppie ethic. I went and
tried to pack all my stuff myself. It wasn't the wisest idea. I haven't
actually moved myself in about 6 years. which is most of my moving lifetime.
I've had a girlfriend to help, girls are good at this type of thing. I am
not. I moved my stuff in like three parts and I'm in a fair deal of pain from
the various cuts etc. plus my room mate is being a nazi about getting
everything set up. I've hardly been able to take a breath this whole
time.which is why I haven't been updating.
However the apartment is shaping up nice. I've spent a fucking fortune on new
stuff so far and I'm hitting ikea tommorow. so we'll see how this works out.
We've got a wireless hookup in the apartment and we've got all the computers
on the network. I realize that there are almost twice as many working
computers in this apartment as there are people. that's a hell of a thing.
This is going to be a weird 3 way situation. Me, the roommate and his
girlfriend. Today everyone of us was pissy at times. I got annoyed that my
roommate was being a dick about having everything in place immediately. Which
is a hell of a thing considering the amount of time we've put in so far, if
it all could have been in place it would be. Today I got my computer and
stuff set up which is good since all my music is on here. (I have CDs for
alll of them thank you)
I went for a drive looking for trouble. I didn't find any but I did break
down and have a cigarette. oh well. I've been pretty good about not doing it
during the week.
I'm waiting on several things to be delivered. I've got the 46" TV on
the way and a 19" LCD for the bedroom. Tommorow I'm buying bookshelves
and something to put in my closet. I also ordered a very nice set of books.
I'm looking forward to having them they are about the history of gold. It's a
3 volume set and is an old school set of books, they'll easily last the rest
of my life.
It's saturday night, I'm at home listening to the Cure and updating my web
site. I guess my life is reaching a new low. however I have an incredible
view out the window. So I guess all is not lost. I went and saw American
Wedding today. It wasn't bad and had a lot of Alyson Hannigan, whom I love.
Weddings and movies about weddings always get me thinking about my own love
life. I think I'm not looking right or something. I have no idea what I need
or how to find it. It would be easier if I found random sex pleasurable,
because I'd be free to pursue something simple and relatively easy to get. I
guess I need something more solid. I hope I find that person. It would make
my life better if I had someone to stay up late talking naked after sex with.
